This chain has gotten a bad rep since the passing of it’s leader, founder, and spokesman, Colonel Saunders. It is no longer the place a family eagerly looks forward to going out to for a family meal after a long week of work and school, but it has become a rather tired fast food joint. This particular one on W. 11th has rude and grumpy window employees who refuse to sell you anything that isn’t already made half an hour before closing. The food doesn’t taste like the fare of the past, not even close. Top that with the new brilliant money-saving scheme of corporate to sell boneless chicken (which means you actually get less and pay more), and you have a restaurant I won’t be visiting again anytime soon. This place gets no stars for service, experience, or food. I will give it one for location, location, location; it is along fast food row and on the only road to the coast, so it gets plenty of business from people who just want something quick and hot in the middle of the day. Don’t go here after about 7 p.m.
